The Austin Air HealthMate Plus Jr. removes virtually all particles from your air – and on top of that, it specifically targets noxious chemicals and gases that can damage your health, and that exist in common household products.

The HealthMate Plus Jr. has the same comprehensive filter technology as the HealthMate Jr., with a special potassium iodide addition to the carbon/zeolite blend. This makes the HealthMate Plus effective at capturing volatile organic compounds (VOCs), like paint and woodworking odors, and particularly efficient with formaldehyde.

Shopping Experience: While redecorating I updated the carpet among other things in my daughter's room, and soon after I noticed she wasn't feeling good in the mornings and was complaining of not feeling good. I did some research and discovered there was formaldehyde emitting from the carpet, and there were a lot of parents complaining of the same symptoms. I tested and discovered there was formaldehyde in my daughter's room. I purchased the Healthmate Jr Plus and cut it on high and within 40 mins I retested and the air was cleaned. My daughters symptoms have not resurfaced either. This is by far my best investment!
