The <b>Austin Air Pet Filter</b> eliminates allergens and irritants specific to indoor pets. Four distinct filter stages address the complete spectrum of airborne contaminants: sub-micron particles, noxious gases, and chemicals.<br/><br/>The Pet Machine has a pre-filter to grab pet hair; 60 feet of true medical HEPA filtration to capture dander; and a special carbon blend tailored for pet odors, especially ammonia.<br/><br/>You should only need to replace this filter once every five years; it comes with a pro-rated warranty. The Pet Filter also comes with a new Permafilt Pre-Filter included.<br/><br/>This is the main replacement filter for the Austin Air Pet Machine.

Standard Size Permafilt Pre-Filter - White

The <b>Standard Size Permafilt Pre-Filter</b> is the first stage of filtration for any standard size Austin Air purifier. Its cotton weave traps particles you can see without a microscope, like dust and pet hair.<br/><br/>You can extend the life of your Permafilt Pre-Filter by vacuuming the outside of your machine about once a month with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner.<br/><br/>The Permafilt Pre-Filter lasts an average of 1 - 2 years.
